RU & Visitor Access Hours

*Access via University Library. Visitors are required to check-in at the Law Library Service Desk.

Extended Bar Exam Study Summer 2025 Hours* 

*Requires registration. Limited to RU law students studying for the bar exam or enrolled in a summer class.  

Holidays & Exceptions

The Law Library is closed on

• MLK Day
• Good Friday through Easter Sunday (Closed March 29 - 31)
• Independence Day
• Labor Day (Closed Sept. 1 - 2, Sunday and Monday)
• Thanksgiving (Closed Nov. 28 - Dec.1) **Note: Law students ONLY will have tap card access for Reading Days on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2024.
• Christmas (Closed Dec. 21 - 25) Limited hours and access Dec. 15 - Jan. 12.

The Law Library also closes during Commissioning and Commencement events at the end of the Spring Semester.   

Access and service hours may differ in the summer and when Law School classes are not in session. Please check our Facebook page for announcements about modified hours.
