Faculty Support: Research & Scholarship

Supporting Research & Scholarship

The Law Library supports research and scholarship in multiple ways, including:

  • Assisting with setting up author profiles, ORCID IDs, and updating content on SSRN, LSN, HeinOnline, ResearchGate, etc.
  • Monitoring faculty research interests and working with faculty on preliminary research for scholarly projects, including identifying relevant resources in our combined electronic and physical collection.
  • Constantly reevaluating the Collection and adding new resources to support individual faculty research and scholarship and the Law School's program of legal education.
  • Offering customized training for Research Fellows assigned to work with faculty on scholarly or other research projects.
  • Providing individual or small group training to law faculty on new electronic resources, database features, and research techniques. Look for upcoming "Know What Your Students (Should) Know" lunch training sessions.
  • Creating current awareness alerts for specific areas of research interest.
  • Coordinating with Law Public Services as needed to facilitate law faculty circulation, document delivery, and ILL requests.
